Roofs tend to wear out gradually, not in a single night. The colour fades, the ridge capping splits, moss takes hold in the valleys and a few tiles shift out of place. Down on the Central Coast, where salt and humidity roll in off the beaches and the bushland keeps things damp, that wear can set in fast on homes around Terrigal and Woy Woy.

What a Roof Restoration Involves
We tailor each roof restoration to the condition of your roof, though most Central Coast jobs follow the six steps listed below.
We get up on the roof and assess the tiles, ridge capping, valleys and flashings, noting the coastal humidity and bushland debris that build up on roofs around Terrigal and Erina. You get a written report and a fixed price with no hidden extras.
Broken, cracked and slipped tiles are replaced and any damaged sections are repaired. Loose or eroded mortar is removed so the roof is structurally sound before sealing begins.
Years of dirt, moss and lichen, fed by the Coast's damp sea air, are stripped back with a high-pressure clean so the surface is bare and ready to coat. This step is essential for the coating to bond properly.
The ridge capping is re-bedded with fresh mortar and re-pointed with a flexible compound so it is secure and watertight through the wet weather off the coast. This prevents water entry at the highest point of the roof.
The roof is sterilised to kill moss and lichen at the root, which take hold quickly in the humidity around Gosford and Woy Woy. A sealer coat is then applied to prime the surface and lock out moisture before the final coating.
We finish with a premium Dulux Acra-Tex coating in the colour of your choice. The multi-coat system provides lasting UV and weather protection, keeping your roof looking fresh for years in the Central Coast climate.

Every restoration we carry out on the Central Coast uses the Dulux Acra-Tex coating system, which is purpose-built for the harsh Australian climate. The multi-coat process seals the roof surface against moisture, UV and salt spray while giving you a wide range of colours to choose from. As an accredited Acra-Tex applicator, we apply the system exactly as Dulux specifies so the manufacturer's product warranty stands behind your roof.
